FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                                                          Friday, August 25, 2017

                   Larry Crim U.S. Senate (TN) S2TN00223                                                                      Larry@CrimUSSenate.com

NASHVILLE.  Larry Crim, Trump supporter and Republican U.S. Senate candidate for the seat held by Bob Corker, said Corker’s comments that Trump - 'has not demonstrated that he understands the character of this nation'  -             "reflects Corker's own confusion about the Constitution on which America’s character is based."
The U.S. Senate candidate Crim said when President Trump defended the rights of both sides in Charlottesville to speak without violence he was "not drawing a moral equivalency, but fulfilling his role as President to uphold the Constitution and free speech rights of every American, which are constitutionally equivalent in this nation."
Corker also questioned the 'stability and competence' of President TrumpYet, Crim, who is CEO of Christian Counseling Centers of America Inc, said "the strength and energy of President Trump in the face of extreme pressures are quite extraordinary especially in light of the inordinate forces of opposition he has faced from day one." The Counseling Executive added that "status quo politicians in Washington, like Corker and McConnell, would never have had the courage Trump displayed to take on the establishment or his mental fortitude to cope with the predictable resistance to change which ensued."
President Trump, himself, today called Corker's comments "strange", tweeting this morning - "Strange statement by Bob Corker considering he is constantly asking me whether or not he should run again in '18.  Tennessee not happy!"
Team Crim U.S. Senate joined Trump at the Nashville Rally and Louisville Rally earlier this year where it has been noted that Corker and Alexander received considerable, sustained boos from the audience in Tennessee and Senator Mitch McConnell was literaly booed off the stage in Louisville.
Larry Crim, a Counseling Executive, who is also President of Veterans Comprehensive Network Inc, has filed his federal candidacy as a Republican for U.S. Senate in 2018 with the Secretary of the Senate and is touring Tennessee.
Bob Corker has not issued a release but has filed the same Statement of Candidacy for U.S. Senate 2018.  Corker will face Larry Crim in the statewide Republican Primary in Tennessee on August 2nd 2018.

CRIM SAYS CORKER SHOULD BOW OUT OF SECRETARY OF STATE VETTING

BECAUSE OF HIS PART IN IRAN DEAL

Larry Crim, a Nashville businessman and U.S. Senate candidate in 2018 for the seat held by Senator Bob Corker, said Senator Corker “should” and he believes “is considering exiting the vetting process for Secretary of State” because “Corker enabled the Iran Nuclear Pact of the Obama administration which President Elect Trump rightfully called ‘a disaster’.”

Mr. Crim said, “Corker bypassed the Constitution’s Treaty Clause to green light President Obama’s arms control agreement with Iran including release of some $150 billion to a foreign power” without subjecting it to approval by two thirds of the senators as provided in the Constitution (Const. Art 2, Sect 2).

He said, "Trump has called the Iran Nuclear Pact a 'disaster' and 'the worst deal ever negotiated'.  When speaking to AIPAA, a pro-Israel lobby group, candidate Trump said his 'Number-One priority' would be to 'dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran.' It is reasonable to assume Corker – the enabler-in-chief of the Iran deal - and President Elect Trump, who said it was the worst deal ever negotiated, do not agree on this key foreign policy issue."

“The Iran deal", the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate continued, "was a nuclear arms agreement which may be, reasonably should be and historically has been subject to supermajority approval by the Senate. As chairman of Foreign Relations, Corker should have asserted, rather than retreated from, the constitutionally permissible and rightful role of the senate to require supermajority approval. Had Senator Corker done so in this case, the Iran Nuclear Deal would never have passed the Senate” said Larry Crim.

"The Iran Nuclear Deal, if deemed to constitute a 'treaty', could be declared void ab initio (from the beginning) since any act contrary to the Constitution is legally void. On the other hand, if the Pact is deemed less than a treaty, or an Executive Agreement, then it may be subject to repeal by the succeeding Executive, which Mr. Trump has pledged to do.”
